       As time goes by we realize what the future looks like if we continue to rely on the oil industry to keep us mobile. New ideas of electric, solar, and even water powered vehicles have been introduced to society and have been scrutinized for different pros and cons of their production.  We see that change must be made because the amount of oil is diminishing as we speak, but how should we change?  We know that these hybrid cars are better for the environment and are more efficient when it comes to filling the gas tank, but what about price of purchasing one.  The price to purchase one of these efficient green cars is substantially more than the ordinary gas guzzler. This is where my idea of a converter comes into play.  Why not invent something that will connect the two.  Instead of having to buy a brand new car why not convert the car you already have into a hybrid.
     In our computer lectures we learned about green computing which involves reducing the electricity consumed and environmental waste generated when using a computer. But this is not limited to only computers.  Society today puts a large emphasis on being "green" to conserve the resources that we are quickly running out of.  Being green isn't always the easiest idea for everyone sometimes it costs more and takes more time, time and money many Americans just don't have.  Creating a conversion system that would take an ordinary car and changing it into one that is more efficient and better for the environment would be a solution that would satisfy many issues we have today.  People would not have to go and spend tons of money on a brand new car just to get rid of one that was still decent, and they would also be contributing to a better future by eliminating the harmful chemicals emitted from gas powered vehicles.
       We also talked about social media and networking in computer class.  Social networks are ways for people to interact, advertise, recruit, and even discuss current topics.  Using social networking would be a great way to find out if this innovation was a success or a failure.  It would also allow people to get an idea of how this might work and they could decide whether or not they would even consider getting one.  Social media allow businesses to market goods and get feedback for how their goods and services are doing.  This would be a great opportunity to market this idea and see how people would react to it.
